My Heart's Desire

I snuggle into His absolute protection and provision.
He intimately communicates His untouched Truth.
Truth,
void of human fingerprints.
I feel
his life giving breath;
I taste
and see that He is good;
I smell
the pure fragrance of the knowledge of Him;
I hear
His eternal heart beating...
For me,
The one He created and loves unconditionally.
I am exposed,
surrendered…to His Holy Spirit.
My heart needs what is real.
My spirit aches for His Spirit,
my Counselor,
my Teacher,
my Comforter…my Rescuer
In here, with Jesus, I am securely free.
From God’s lap,
I am sheltered,
covered by a fierce shield of love.
From here
I see
the world, the ugly and the beautiful.
As I look out through His filter,
I am strengthened,
to do all things.
